We are looking for a motivated, energetic barback to join our growing team here at the Tap in West Lafayette. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting bartenders and service team. You will help keep the bar operational and clean at all times. A high-energy, can-do, friendly attitude is a must.

Duties/Responsibilities

Help keep liquor, beer, mixers, garnishes stocked
Perform bussing responsibilities, such as cleaning dishes and glassware from bartop and tables
Maintain overall appearance and cleanliness (e.g. wipe down surfaces, clean glass beer cooler doors)
Help with clean up of spills or other guest accidents
Assist with washing of bar glassware and putting away
Check and re-stock ice bins
Follow all opening or closing procedures during the shift
Ensure customer satisfaction by smiling and answering any questions our guests may ask

Requirements

Ability to perform well under pressure
Must be at least 21 years old
Detail-oriented, organized, clean
Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs
Ability to work a flexible schedule preferred
Quick and able to stand/move around for long periods of time
Barbacks are needed for high-volume shifts so night/weekend availability is a MUST
